Maqbool Fida Hussain......

Other day i was watching live debate in a private news channel, people present there unanimously decided  that  "It is hypocritical to place curbs on Husain's artistic freedom.  This does not do India proud; it adds to India's disgrace."

People like me have got few questions(purely to enlighten my limited knowledge) about  Artistic freedom, and Secularism in India:

1. Is Quatar much more liberal than India for Artistic freedom?
2. Will Quatar government/people receive him in the same way if he  portraits pictures of Islamic deities/personalities in  similar way?
3. What  made so called Secularists to support Hussain's stand ....becoz he belong to a particular religion or his paintings goes against sentiments of poor  Hindus.......will they be keep quiet if some Islamic deity met with the same fate?
4. What is the great loss to entire nation if he accepts the Quatar Citizenship?
5. If they justify hooliganism of one particular religion goons(In Shimoga and Hassan recently ...about Taslima's so called writing in news paper ) ......why don't they back Bajrangdal/Shiva Sena's stand on Hussain paintings(afterall he hurted religious sentiments of Hindus)  ?
6. I have gone through few Hussain's paintings in which he depicted Islamic personalities in full attire and Hindu deities and personalities in nude , semi nude and objectionable position....how do he justify his dual stand and biasness ......?
7. Why no fatwa was issued in India by any Hindu fundamentalist organisations(So called) against MF Hussain unlike what happened in case of Danish Cartoonist and Taslima by Islamic fundamentalist groups?

Bheeshmacharya and Dronacharya even though they are erudite personalities they  met their end in a pietyful manner because they successfully  played the role of dumb and mute spectators when Draupadi was humiliated by Dussasana.

I dont want to be dumb and mute spectator like Bheeshmacharya.... its up to readers inner conscience to decide...

Finally rightly said by HH Chinna Jeeyar Swamiji "WORSHIP ONE'S - RESPECT ALL"  should be one's motto for the well being of society as a whole.
